The concept for the show has risen out of Wyatt and Jernigan’s work with women inside churches. They are passionate about changing the culture for women inside and outside the church walls. While their co-founded ministry, Girlfriends Unlimited, has flourished, Wyatt and Jernigan insist they must exist for that one girlfriend that may be battling oppression, loneliness, depression, and a lack of self worth.
